We the students of FINA 3332 Chisholm are filing a complaint against Professor Chisholm. We need a formula sheet and a worked out exam review given to us. Students that were lucky enough to be taught by the other Professor are granted access to both of these. The majority of students who are currently enrolled in her courses weren't given any indication on Professor's Chisholm's policies until the first day, which excluded them from picking the other professor. While she has the power to do so, her negligence has affected numerous students. Even the tutors state in the summer course they received formula sheets, in fact every subject in Bauer provides this. Her reasoning of the previous semester taking advantage of the sheets is not professional. The review we had before Exam 1 on September 23, 2019, wasn't helpful at all, Professor Chisholm was not present and her TA was actually doing the review for her. This resulted in many students being confused and riddled with unanswered questions. Many students left in frustration hoping to be able to understand the topics before the exam. We don't feel like we are receiving the same amount of effort and are being educated as well as the students in Professor Piquera's class. Every student paid hard earned money for this education, and we expected to be taught like a Bauer student supposed to be educated, but unfortunately that is not the case here. All we ask for is to have the same opportunity to succeed or fail as the past semester.

The dysfunction that took place in todays Q/A class showcase how little the professor cares..
It doesn't make any sense that the other class is allowed a formula sheet and not us. The fact that she allowed a formula chart even last semester but not now is ridiculous. Even more so, statistically her class averages almost a grade level less than other classes but instead of trying to make the class easier, she makes it harder.
We want an equal and fair opportunity on given exams as all other prior&existing classes have bu having a formula sheet & proper exam review.
I had asked her the differences between two slides on practice questions that had the same question verbatim but two different answers and she never even responded to it.
This teacher is extremely unfair I have a friend who took the class last semester and was provided a formula sheet.
She doesn’t give information that is useful
My main issue with this class is not the quality or absence of a test review, it is that the professor is blatantly disrespectful to her students because she knows she can, intentionally makes her class harder than the other professors despite having the same required class. She is know as the worst lecturer, creates her own tests (which are the most difficult), and now has begun giving the least tools to aid in help during the test (formula sheet). Previous semesters show a discrepancy in class results as this professor continually has a gpa average of 2.7-2.8 while the others all have an average class gpa of 3.3-3.5. My academic advisor even stressed to me to avoid taking this professor at all costs. If this is such an apparent problem within Bauer then some adjustments are clearly needed. This hinders students and deters them from pursuing finance which is a disservice to the students, the major, and the university.

I 100% support this petition. I absolutely cannot believe that I paid money for this class. It was well below what Bauer should consider standard for there classes.
