A PETITION TO MMU: COMPULSORY ONE WEEK HOLIDAYS FOR RAYA, DEEPAVALI & CNY

Hope this will be considered as it is during festive seasons and students need to go back to persue their religious deeds.

Deepavali 1 day, hari raya a few days, chinese new year used to be a week and now changing to a few days??? Next what? Sem break 1 week?

I believe it would only be fair if everyone gets an equal amount of holidays as years before.

I wang more holiday to spend with my family

longer holiday for longer performance

We should have fairness to every race by offering one week holiday for the biggest festival of every race such as Hari Raya and Chinese New Year.

It's a must for a one week holiday to allow the students to enjoy time with family members

-

We need longer holiday

Your action of such drafting of calendar shows tincy elements of discrimination against Chinese yo.

I agree with this motion for the rights of other races.

I support 100% this motion

Pls!

Since MMU is counting the attandance and can't be less than 80%, thus attendance is very important for students. Many students are from other states, they are going back hometown to celebrate their festival. It is not a considerate decision to put only two or three days holiday for them. Especially when it comes to the major festival such as raya, Chinese New year and deepawali.

One day holiday for Chinese New Year are u kidding me

Please be considerate about our students' difficulties such as insufficient time to be spent with our beloved families during the important festivals! And when going back hometown students also need time to go back. do you know that 27January is our reunion dinner day? how can on 27January the class is still on? The way draft the calendar shows that you disrespect to the persons who will be celebrating their big days and you deprive the students'right to celebrate Chinese new year please improve it so that all the races will have enough time to celebrate these big days

Good luck

We all deserve equal treatment despite our races and our celebrations

We need break to have fun during our festive season
