A PETITION TO MMU: COMPULSORY ONE WEEK HOLIDAYS FOR RAYA, DEEPAVALI & CNY

Please be considerate about our students' difficulties such as insufficient time to be spent with our beloved families during the important festivals! And when going back hometown students also need time to go back, how can on 27January the class is still on? 27January is our reunion dinner day do you know that? The way u draft the calendar shows that you disrespect to the persons who will be celebrating their big days and you deprive the students'right to celebrate Chinese new year please improve it don't hope that this incident will repeat again

Please do provide us 1 week holiday for all the religions festivals.

Near to cny having midterm 2 and got clash timing nvr ask student suggestions

All festivals are equally significant to the different races... So why practise double standards... while screaming out for unity. Always making a mockery of themselves........

compulsory one week holiday for CNY, Hari Raya and Deepavali

Please consider those who stay far away from MMU, Melaka. Please be fair to each of the races. If Hari Raya able to holiday for a week, why not Chinese New Year? Come on lah.

i dont think that every year give extra 3 weeks holidays for every major races in malaysia to celebrate their traditional festival will bring any bad effect either to mmu or students

I think the CNY holidays should be one week,same as the Hari Raya holidays since most of the students are Chinese.

Dear MMU management, please stop doing such decision and make everyone hurt !!!

A mid-trimester break is good for students to take a short rest - to rejuvenate. It is off course much better to have give a 1 week holiday during festive seasons for students to celebrate with family , back in their home town. Please consider this petition and be kind to the students.

It's true, once a year is very important!

I think most students will skip the class. So，what the purpose for the lecture in the class？Lecture also need rest. please fair for each races！

Have mercy on the students... give them a less stress feeling when comes to any major festival. It will help them perform better n raise standard of achievement in MMU ...

Everyone need to spend some time with their family during festival season. We are just students, we are not working overseas or busy.
