What a shame to lose someone like Katherine. Always had a smile and went way beyond what was required of her. Her next employer will be getting a prize addition to their team. I guess the board missed out on this one as they have done so in the past. The board has to go and please do not allow them to spend the $1 million on expanding the facilities at the Lodge. I’ve been here for 15 years and this current situation is by far worse than any thing I can remember. This is probably bouncing off deaf years. Kal

I am concerned about the future of Anthem Ranch. We need more transparency from CCMC and the BOD. Do we need a new management company? It's time to review everything. What is going on? Let's solve the problem. Hopefully the CCMC will meet the demands of this petition. Good management could have prevented Katherine from leaving. Katherine's talent for creating so many lifestyle activities is the reason so many of us love it here. She cannot be replaced.

I was so disheartened when I heard of Katherine’s future departure. Staff resignations and low morale are a reflection of poor management. I have been concerned with the direction of the BOD and CMCA for quite sometime and my hope is that through this petition frontline staff will receive the support that they deserve.

It’s important that we residents better understand CCMA, their role and authority, and how we can ensure better CCMA communications with the residents to achieve our collective interests.

There is no excuse for the entire BOD to not be included in the resolution of Katherine's concerns from the very beginning in July. It is a dereliction of duty .

This is very disheartening to know that Katherine is leaving. We must change things and do everything possible to retain Katherine as a staff member.

Katherine is the keeper of the humanity and wisdom of many Anthem souls. If CCMC cannot appreciate her value to us - than CCMC SHOULD GO!

I have been a resident of AR for almost 10 years. I have been a sponsor at AR for 8 years. Working with Katherine Erstad concerning my sponsorship of events and presentations at AR was a delight because of her professionalism and appreciation of my support of our community and its lifestyle events. As residents of AR, my wife and I have been the beneficiaries of Katherine's excellent work as the Lifestyle Director. We heartily agree with all of the other comments concerning Katherine's attributes and her importance to AR. We will be extremely dismayed if our community loses her talent and expertise. It has been pointed out that Katherine works at the pleasure of CCMC but also that CCMC works at the pleasure of the AR BOD. If Katherine leaves, the BOD should fire CCMC and hire another management company that will employ Katherine and put her talents back to use her at AR.

As a resident from before the time there was even a lodge and all the activities we enjoy today, I can say Katherine was the BEST person to be the face of our community. She has brought so much to our community and her leaving is a terrible loss for all of us.

Katherine has been a shining light among the Anthem Ranch staff. Letting her leave would be a travesty. We should do everything possible to keep Katherine as a productive member of the staff

The problem that I see is CCMC not providing us with excellent management - positions left vacant, weak leadership from the community director and apparently no plan to improve the situation. CCMC has failed us and the BOD should take immediate action to enforce the terms of the CCMC contract or sue to terminate. How about we fire CCMC and direct hire Katherine as Community Director?!

Having worked with Katherine for her entire tenure here as talent search director for PAL and as director of Singers of Anthem Ranch and knowing her gifts of working with all residents. I am extremely concerned about the future of Anthem Ranch Amenities. Ignoring her requests in as early July is shameful--and will put many lifestyle events in great jeopardy!

This just proves how awful it is “behind the desk.” So toxic that the one person with the constant smile, affirmations of encouragement, and listening ear has been forced out to save her sanity. Katherine is a JOY! She will be loved wherever she goes. I had hoped that she would be in the Anthem offices for as long as I lived here, and she held the same hope.
Thanks for starting this petition - I hope it helps. I vote for smiles - not constant excuses and bullying.

I will sign this petition, however, I would like more transparency about what happened and why the community wasn't in the loop. We have been here 1 year and Katherine was instrumental in making sure we were not feeling lost due to the pandemic ... sounds as if we need to strengthen the lines of communication between the BOD, CCMC and the community. Please find a way to keep Katherine at Anthem Ranch!

Katherine's forever respectful, energetic, cheerful, creative, positive and fun loving personality have set the tone for the Anthem Ranch community. From the first time I met Katherine I felt a personal connection that greatly enhanced my satisfaction with being a member of this community and I know this response to Katherine's genuine care and interest in me is shared by many members. I have always felt she was the most irreplaceable member of the team overlooking Anthem Ranch. I am so sad that Katherine is leaving and would do whatever it takes to help retain her.

Haven’t we had enough loss? Katherine was wonderful, always there for all of us. This is not acceptable. She was truly the nicest person there.
