Most of us in Anthem Ranch are 55 +years old. When we say Katherine is exceptional, it is because we have known a lot of people, most of whom do not fit in the category of "exceptional". I think we know what we're talking about. I feel blind-sided by the e-mail we received regarding Katherine's departure. The board members are supposed to be representing US. What the heck? The board has known about this since July?! What is going on?! It seems, a total lack of transparency.
Extremely disappointing. Katherine's departure is a disaster.

When I was looking at AR homes I toured the Aspen Lodge and was greeted by Katherine. She was so welcoming and helpful, and enthusiastic about the community which was important to me in choosing to purchase a home here. Hearing about the issues that are now influencing her decision to leave is very disappointing to me, and causes me concern about the future of our community. I would prefer personally to have people like her in leadership positions with more influence over the direction of the community rather than being put into a position where she feels like leaving is her best choice. It's obvious by the comments here how valuable everyone feels that Katherine is. How can we let someone like her leave? What do we value more than a person like her? What are the decisions that are being made that are creating the kind of conflict that is forcing exceptional people like her to leave? I'd like to understand.

Katherine is the heart of Anthem Ranch. It is disheartening to see such a valued staff member leave, unless of course, we have nothing to offer her which would entice her to stay. This whole situation and the role of the BOD in personnel issues needs to be explored.

This is a disaster for AR residents.
The smile the energy the enthusiasm will never be replaced.
Katherine is the light of the lodge. I doubt her requests were unreasonable, unpopular to staff perhaps, but not unreasonable.

She has been a most reliable member of the management team. Really a top notch employee and friend.

Katherine was a great asset to our active retirement community and it would be nice if she isn't forced to find other job.

Katherine's management and people skills are obviously highly valued by our residents. Our management company (CCMC) and its Anthem Ranch Community Manager (Kelly McKee), along with our Board of Directors, should do everything possible to retain Katherine.

Katherine has the biggest heart that know. She has been the feeling of goodness in the Lodge. To disgrace her without trying to help her stay is a terrible choice for Anthem Ranch. Her kindness and well being has made this place number one. Please sign this petition and let’s find out what is going on and what can be done to make it better. Surely without her guidance we will all be in trouble. She is the light.

We consider Katherine Erstadt to be a member of a very small group of people -- those who are truly very extraordinary!! We wish she were part of our own family as well as the Anthem Ranch family. Hearing that she is leaving is extremely upsetting. She has done so much to enhance the style of life that we, who are so fortunate to live in Anthem Ranch, enjoy. Her leaving is indeed a travesty. Without Katherine, Anthem Ranch will definitely not be as special as it has been with her and because of her. We will miss her terribly.
We realize that Katherine and all members of the AR staff are employees of CCMC, and that we, as residents, have no say in the hiring, transferring, promoting or firing of them. However, knowing that the HOA BOD representative was aware since July that Katherine might be leaving and did not convey that to the other Board members is very disturbing. That prevented them from doing everything possible to keep Katherine at AR, and instead, apparently, nothing was done.
It is our sincere hope that this situation can somehow be rectified.

There is a heart that beats throughout Anthem Ranch. You can feel it when you reach out to a neighbor, play pickleball or tennis with a friend, discuss a book or play cards at the lodge. It is the mutual caring, giving, sharing, enjoying, reaching out and making a difference in the lives of those around you. Katherine personifies the very beat of this HEART when you enter the Anthem Lodge. You can feel it when she welcomes you with her warm smile. Katherine's warm, caring, dedicated, and professional persona is what draws everyone to her and gives us the assurance that she is there to take care of our needs. This is an unfortunate situation and one that we truly hope can be rectified. If Katherine is willing to stay at Anthem, we hope that CCMC will reconsider and offer her another contract. She has been a gem among many stones.

It is very disappointing that the BOD allowed this travesty of the collapse of the CCMC support to play out and did not inform the Anthem Ranch community.

I am in the dark as to what has been happening at the Lodge but the comments that I have been reading do not not sound supportive of our management company or our BOD. How about a community meeting to inform us of what is going on? I also support Katherine. She has put tremendous effort into her job as Lifestyle Director. She has also done an admirable job during a very stressful COVID time.

Before we decided to buy in Anthem Ranch, we met Katherine setting up for a New Years Eve party. She positively influenced our decision to purchase a home here.

Aside from the petition we should all take the time to voice our sentiments to the upper management of CCMC. I would suggest using Katherine's first and last name (Erstadt) and obviously Anthem Ranch. Their contact information: Division Presidents, Tony Ledvina and Jeremy McClain, 5940 S. Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Phone 720-248-2262. I got that information from their web site contacts.

Katherine is a tremendous asset to this community. We have already lost too many staff members, and the support from staff is not what it was pre-Covid. We should not be trying to fill such a critical position in this challenging employment market.
Please reconsider
