The tax increase is too much at one time! Those that live and work here already struggle. With one of the highest in the state, what is there to show for it now? Certainly not much! God bless us! I don't want to move out of county either, we love it here, but we just may not have a choice.

Our elected officials need to learn to operate within their budget. My SS increase isn't enough to cover the increase in cost of living and they want to add more taxes on to me!

I urge you: Please do NOT support a tax increase on property owners in Franklin county at this time. This is an increase we would not be able to afford, being on soc security only. Thank you.

This proposed property tax hike will be a hardship on people who are already property owners. This is kill home ownership in Franklin County.

Do you have any idea how many people in Franklin County are on a fixed income. SS , disability etc. it is already hard to come up with the money.

High taxes are the reason we moved out of Wake County. At this rate we should have stayed put. We have made a conscienous effort to support local business whenever possible, increasing taxes will hurt already struggling small business!!!
