I do not agree with the property tax increase. There has got to be other changes that can be made to the budget to make everything balance up.

IF WE ARE NOT # 1 FOR THE HIGHEST PROPERY TAX IN NORTH CAROLINA WE WILL BE NOW I KNOW THIS MUST BE A DEMOCRAT IDEA I DONT THINK ANY OF OUR REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS WOULD SUPPORT THIS !!!!

I am going to be following this proposed tax rate because I want to know which board member would agree to something such as this. Try giving back to the citizens and then you can go back and address this issue. Where are all of the businesses that this county needs to keep more of our tax payers in this county? Most of the tax dollars are being used in Wake County. Everyone does not purchase Walmart products. You can't just keep milking the same cows over and over!! You are the leaders and you need to find a solution that's your jobs right?

If you are trying to reduce the population in Franklin County of hard working people who pay their fair share ALREADY, this is the way to do it!

The county needs to cut spending NOT raise taxes!!! This will kill the county, people will NOT move here, business's will NOT move here, it will destroy our economy and the county will LOSE money. There is a lot of spending in the sheriff's dept and other dept's that should be cut..

Cut salaries in upper management and no property tax increase. They had an increase a few years ago and wasted it.

It is high time this county learned to live within its means, or rather the means of its citizens. Some towns look like run down ghost towns now with unoccupied buildings and some in need of repair. You think increasing the taxes is going to help our county wide dwindling economy? If so, perhaps the citizens of this county elected the wrong people and mind you we WILL remember what you do here come election time.
