We are struggling as it is to keep our heads above water! What’s the deal? We already pay the highest taxes in the srare!

the latest assecment incresed the value of my home 28% My house hasn't even recovered from the 30% loss of value in 2008. We should have gotten a reduction 10 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!

As a Lake Royale resident, which is larger then many communities, we do receive the benefits of our fax dollars since we are a gated community. We do not want this fax increase.

I can take a small increase, but .12 on a $100 of value is too much for any of us to absorb. Especially retirees on a fixed income.

This is putting homeowners to the point of selling..its time for changes of hired leaders and elected leaders..I wonder if leaders pay county tax...assume no or they wouldn't keep raising them

New commissioners and "clean house". $100,000 for a job that she has 2 assistants, $80,000 for her assistant....too much

We already have outrageous tax rates that are some of the highest of the state. Why not cut spending instead of discouraging any growth at all and hurting current residents by adding to an already high tax burden?

What is this increase need for? 60,000 residents and a 75 B need? I certainly hope that someone will look at this long and hard. There is definitely something wrong with the math. This should not happen.

A lot of people here are retired, and on fixed incomes. So far mortage Ins has gone up, the cost of living here is ridiculous, more property taxes will force people to move to a different county. I am seriously considering it. There are no recreational things to do. Why do this?

No more tax ! Since we are getting so much for what we pay now (sarcasm). Way too much government already ! I'm not sure politicians are even smart enough to realize it and dang well know they are not smart enough to manage it !
