Peachtree City is in much need of a quality, safe, and community centered skatepark. As many of you know Peachtree City does have a skatepark at 191 McIntosh Trail Peachtree City, Ga. This park is around 20 years old and has many design flaws and safety hazards. In addition to those drawbacks it is also very small and is in somewhat of a hidden location. We would like to build the new skate park on tdk blvd on lake mcIntosh. Having a new skatepark would benefit the whole community especially our youth. Please sign this petition and help us take the next step in getting a amazing skatepark for our city. DO NOT MAKE A DONATION through this website because i have not setup a way for that money to go to the skatepark

This is needed very much here. I am no longer a skateboarder but I have gone over to the part since being here and it really needs to be re-done. The pavement is so rough it will leave those who fall a mess. Kids these days also spend so much time on devices that they need a safe place to get out and be active.
This proposal would provide another venue for kids to be physically active and encourage them to refocus their attention from their cell phones to the natural world around them and real relationships.
It is time to build a bigger, safer skate park in PTC. I have spent many fun hours in my youth at the current location and it is time to improve so our children can have the same fun we did.
I've been saying something about the dilapidated skatepark in Peachtree City since we first moved here. It boggles my mind that you have a BMX track that draws in Pro but you have probably the worst skatepark I've even seen and I've lived in several cities. Something should be done because skating is a huge part for a lot of boys and girls and there's just nothing at that part that's worth putting there bourdon. There is rotted wood, rusty metal, exposed nail heads, that both of my children refuse to even put their boards on it to go skating how sad for them they have no place to ride their skateboards.
It would be good for our teenagers to have something fun to do instead of getting in trouble out of boredom.
Hopefully the committee decides to use Grindline Skateparks, the only company who really cares about the kids and what they want!
Agreed!

Not sure Lake McIntosh is the best place because it is not as golf cart accessible, but definitely need to build one somewhere.
