Some odd things about violating the dress code is that it rarely ever happens to boys. I believe and know that girls bodies are not a distraction, and you also might know that it is impossible to find shorts longer than your fingertips. (Especially when you are tall like me). The momentum behind this building frustration is undeniable and it keeps me going when the school administration pushes back. It is exhausting to keep fighting for basic fairness but seeing so many of you join this cause makes the effort feel worthwhile.

The dress code is a massive problem, as a none binary person, (who enjoys wearing short skirts and fishnets and stuff like that at times) I struggle finding shorts that fit past my longer arms :( make this a thing!
The Dress Code should definataley change. I personally have not gotten dress coded because all of the clothes that i wear are plenty long. But I have seen many girls get dress coded because those are the only shorts they could find.
I agree that the Manning dress code should change, I'm obviously not a girl but that does not mean I think the dress code at Manning should be changed. I have a sister who attended Manning and is now curently at Lakewod high and she was never a fan of the dress code.
Thank you! I was recently shopping and could not find shorts that were long enough! Also, one of my friends was asked TWICE by staff if she was wearing shorts under her sweatshirt!
I had so much trouble finding shorts at the start of the year and, shirts that were long enough. All of the boys clothing is already long enough so the girls have a large limit on their clothing choices. I feel that we shouldn't wear clothing with bad words on them but I agree that we should have more freedom in our clothing.
I think that changing the dress code is a great idea!

My god, I have had so many people tell me that my bra strap or my shoulder is distracting. I want to be able to wear what I want and not worry that's why this petition is so nice.
