We the people of COLERAINE demand that a MUSEUM be established in our TOWN.
The Causeway Coast and Glens Council supports museum's in Garvagh, Limavady, Ballymoney and Ballycastle BUT NOT COLERAINE! We have a wealth of historical artifects currently in storage and a very good and active Museum Services Department who are expected to operate a ''Pop Up'' mini museum, a sad reflection on our Council and our Town.

Being one of the earliest settlements in Ireland should alone be a selling point for our town to bring tourists in and help our town from dwindling more. It deserves a museum to tell our history.
As a great historical town, Coleraine's heritage and history, must be preserved, so that future generations, can get a glimpse of how our little town evolved, from the early plantation days, till today... We have waited far too long, with too many broken promises...
Totally agree - Coleraine would benefit from a Museum - Near Anderson’s Park or down near the Old Bridge - would make an excellent visitor attraction for the tourists and bring them back into the town centre.
Have been waiting 60 years since the Old Market Yard was earmarked for Coleraine's NEW Museum - Please hurry up or I'll never see it in my lifetime!
Coleraine was once even a county ... and most Coleraine people don't even know this ... kids should know how their town was build ... this should be included in the money for education for the town
It beggars belief that Coleraine has no museum. we could get our Bann disc back here to display.

Coleraine is the largest town in Causeway Coast and Glens, but is the only one with no museum. The town has a strong and rich heritage and its story should be heard.
