They actually did it and decided to pull the fund out of Wells Fargo because honestly there was just no way to ignore us anymore. I am shaking a little bit typing this because it feels like a heavy weight is finally gone and I am so grateful to everyone …

Dear All,

I am starting a petition to have our IATSE annuity Fund moved from Wells Fargo. "The divest movement urging people to take their money out of banks that behave unethically has consistently been gaining traction, and no bank is getting more pressure these days than Wells Fargo." Wells fargo as you know was involved in a large Fraud case last year and instead of firing the CEO, more than 5,300 Wells Fargo employees were fired last September. They are currently one of the investors in the DAPL. We need to apply pressure on these companies to disinvest from Pipeline projects and other immoral ventures. We need 25 signatures on this petition to get it in front of the board.

I was looking at the total sitting on my screen and realized how much weight this is starting to hold so we just need that extra bit of momentum before the board meeting happens. If you could send the link to a few coworkers during your break it would really help us cross that line before things get busy later today.

Member of 122 for over 5 years, worked with the local for almost 10 years. I want to see my money management team have some kind of Social Conscience, we are a labor organization after all. If we don't stand up for what is right, who will?

I did not appreciate our money being placed into the care of a company that defrauded its customers an was forced to pay millions in fines for improper behavior. Nevermind the fact that they are funding a project that violates the sovereignty of native peoples and steals land from US citizens, all to profit a foreign corporation.

Why did we go with these guys anyway? They were against the steel workers in the south. Not an union way of doing business, get rid of Wells Fargo!!

I'm not sure why we moved from a customer service oriented bank (MassMutual) to a bank that's always been known for unethical, anti-consumer and anti worker practices.

Local 481 member here. I urge the IATSE benefit fund trustees to divest from Wells Fargo. I don't want my union to be associated with any institution that's complicit in constructing the Dakota Access Pipeline. Shame on Wells Fargo. No DAPL! Divest now!

Member of IATSE LOCAL 764. I was actually going to stop paying into my fund because of all of the Wells Fargo customer fraud scandals and support of the Dakota access pipeline. I'd rather keep paying in but to a different bank or credit union
