I had dialysis for many years and had to travel to Rockhampton and ended up moving to Bunderberg if there had of been a Renal Unit in Biloela would have made my life less difficult.
Regional hospitals have for too long been without the ability to provide the necessary care for their community
If a smaller town like Ingham has dialysis chairs why does Biloela not have them. In addition Our road to Rockhampton is shocking for patients compared with the Ingham to Townsville road. Why are they more privileged than Biloela
Biloela needs more services like this. It’s not fair to make residents travel for medical services which can be based in Biloela.
People shouldn't have to travel to have this service. I've watched my father- in - law become house bound for years because he couldn't get this treatment in rural areas. Not good enough qld health.
Biloela needs these services.
Was a resident In the 60s married Robert Lynn deceased so I'm all for a unit closer for those in need ,good luck

Biloela definitely needs a renal unit to cover our local area out here. It is unreal that renal patients continually have to travel.
