Born and raised in Sunshine Gardens; my mother still resides in the same house. We used Sunshine Gardens School with the assistance of park and rec to have a place to play. What a fabulous unused spot for a park. Look forward to the city making this happen; soon.

Born and raised in Sunshine Gardens of South San Francisco. As a child I had no public parks in my neighborhood to ride bikes to. We did have the local schools that were usually gated off or we were guided off property by the after hours staff, typically resorting to hanging out in vacant store lots or utility easements. A local park would be great for the neighborhood!

It is a shame our city government chooses to ignore the important quality of life issues in favor of more unneeded housing development projects. I do not believe it is a matter of lack of funding given all of the large corporate entities in Biotech that are contributing to our tax base. Our Mayor and City Council should support providing a Community Park for the families in Sunshine Gardens

I am sadden that we don’t have access because my children would love to ride bikes, play basketball, play catch and we only live 4 houses away from SSG school

Instead of worrying about building more developments and cramming more people into our city, and favoring the biotech with their lovely landscaping, let's start focusing some attention on the neighborhoods.

There has to be a way to put a park here in SSG. I’ve lived here for 42 years raised 4 kids and now have grandchildren. We need some place for kids to play.

Sunshine Gardens needs a park and not more city projects like huge corner curbs.

Please listen to us, we’re asking for a park not a castle. We all property tax and we need to have a say in how it is used. The way the street money was wasted was ridiculous!! 3 months to repay my street, they placed the wrong size drain and had to dig it up and redo, lines on the side like we don’t know how to park! Crazy waste of funds!! We need a park where it can be walked to without crossing major roads
yes please! a park for kids and adults alike...
