A call on the Mayor to fix the dangerous Tulse Hill Gyratory

As a local user I find the Tulse Hill junction perilous, with many vehicles speeding down the hill to catch the lights, vehicles crossing lanes, a counter-intuitive bus lane down the middle of the road, etc - so many risks for accidents.

This is a horrible dangerous road, I hate driving on it and I hate walking near it. The design just encourages people to floor it and drive dangerously. The level of acceleration will also be making the air quality significantly poorer

I live next to the gyratory, and honestly, it feels like I’m living in the middle of a motorway. During the summer, there are so many motorcyclists speeding past, and the noise is unbearable. What I find most disturbing, especially for my mental wellbeing, is when they stop at the traffic lights. They make an unbelievable amount of noise, revving their engines day and night. It’s incredibly disruptive and makes it very difficult to relax or get proper rest. This really needs to stop.

We lived on Lanercost Road for over 12 years and have seen many accidents on the gyratory. It is an incredibly dangerous junction and could be redesigned to help traffic flow and resolve safety concerns fairly easily as plans had already been drawn up and looked effective. In addition, would help businesses to grown in the area and provide much needed investment in Lambeth.
