I have to cross the gyratory on my way to and from work - it’s incredibly intimidating having 2 lanes of traffic navigating corners at such speed and close proximity to the pedestrian islands.

Incredibly dangerous gyatory zone for pedestrians, cyclists & drivers alike. Current shape and horror of it as a place for humans or any form of living life is laughable. It’s dangerous for all, whether you live in the area or pass through as a commuter. Extremely dangerous space and a visual eye sore. I no longer cross the road here especially on what are meant to be zebra crossings without having my phone on record so there’s evidence in light of being hit by a car/van/lorry/bus.

Between 2015 and 2025 I regularly commuted from West Norwood to Tottenham by bicycle. Tulse Hill Gyratory was by some distance the most dangerous obstacle in either direction, to the extent that I frequently dismounted and walked. It's also confusing, brings out the worst in drivers and for a mobility or sight-impaired pedestrian or parent walking with young children, downright terrifying.

Because it is outdated, dangerous and is a major road artery connecting South East and South West London. Cyclist nightmare in a city where cycling is becoming ever more popular but also fraught with danger.

Driving around and seeing flowers on posts left by love ones of the now multiple people who have died here due to this traffic management, it's a lot. It should NOT need to be this dangerous as a driver or passenger to navigate through Tulse Hill.

The current road layout is dangerous, impractical and time wasting.
