What kind of message is being given when perfectly adequate equipment is not being recycled, particularly in the current climate.

For a development the size and value of Waverley, the child play provision is really poor. Surely this cannot be right.

I don’t see why the old park can’t stay and be incorporated into the retail plans (which don’t seem all that forthcoming! M)

Losing this play equipment is depriving the area of potential social interaction opportunities. Physical development is also important to the children of the community.

How can Waverly have such a huge community (mainly families) and not have an adequate park for the local kids?

Inadequate playing equipment for small kids, and that red stony path needs removing would be better just grass.

My daughter is 18 months old . The new play equipment is to old for her. She recently fell off the climbing frame trying to get to the slide, fell head first onto floor and ended up in A&E. Old equipment is perfect for her and children of similar age

The new park is inadequate and it there is existing equipment that can be moved - not wasted!

Save the playground equipment! Would be ludicrous to not move it to the new park!
