I have been going to camp for the last 7 years. Ive been here and seen the high, the lows, and the innumerable ways that this family has bonded. I politely ask the committee, the alumni, CEO, Grand Poobah - whomever this decision is made by - to please reconsider removing the Weigleys from their positions at YMCA Camp Tippecanoe.

Look at the past 10 years and it easy to see the amazing turn around both Scott and Carrie have brought to camp. They're two of the most dedicated and diligent directors we've had there. They eat sleep and breathe camp, but for some reason you've decided it's time for them to go. I find it both disheartening and sad that every time someone has come to camp, the board decides at some point it's time for them to move on. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened, but hopefully it will be the last. Camp is not for us; the adults, board of directors and the like, it's for the children. Scott and Carrie have dedicated themselves, not only to the children of Camp Tippicanoe, but also the resurgence of camp itself, so why now after they've worked so hard the decision has been made to let them go. If we want camp to a place where children have the opportunity to learn, experience and grow in a safe atmosphere, what a better place than YMCA Camp Tippicanoe, and what better people than Scott and Carrie. Consistently is a key element in life; however, it seems every time camp has the opportunity to keep that consistency going, it doesn't and thats really to bad. If it's not broke don't look for a reason to fix it. Scott and Carrie have worked tirelessly and sacrificed a lot to make camp into what it is today and it's only fitting they have they opportunity to see their hard work and dedication pay off. Keep them as directors and keep the consistency going; the children, camp, and the community will all be better off because of this decision.

I have been going to ymca camp tippecanoe for 7 years now. Camp is my home and the people of camp are my family. Scott and Carrie like caring parents to everybody at camp. I keep coming back to camp, my sanctuary, because of people like Scott and Carrie who make camp the best experience of my short lived life. Honestly the idea of coming back to camp and back to the family I built is one of the main reasons I get out of bed and keep going. It's literally what I think of EVERYDAY, to keep me hopeful working hard in highschool. Scott and Carrie are the embers the keep the camp fire burning. #keepthefireburning #savemomanddad

You are facing a posible PR nightmare in replacing a popular and very effective director team at Camp Tippecanoe. . I have been involved in the Camp since 1971 and have not seen the level of commitment and enthusiasm generated by this couple. Please reconsider your actiond.

I truly believe this move is not in the best interest of camp or all those who are served by camp. In the last 10 years I have been proud of the progress camp has made with Scott and Carrie's leadership.

My kids have been going to camp for 10 And 8 years. They are the reason they love camp and they are the ones why they want to become camp counselors. They have poured their hearts and souls into this camp.. The kids need them. Keep Scotf and Carrie

As an alumni, I have been very happy with how Scott and Carry have continued camp and alumni events. We look forward to seeing them for the 2nd Tippecanoe 5k and fun run with our 3 and 6 year old. Last year was such an enjoyable day for me to share camp with my husband and kids. And I would love for them to still be the directors when our kids are old enough to attend Camp Tippecanoe!!!!

Scott and Carrie have done an ashtonishing job of cultivating and sustaining the positive aura that Camp Tippecanoe possesses and have inspired me, and many others, to give to the community that the camp has created, as well as inspire me to participate in CIT/LIT program so that one day I can give back to the camp that has given so much to me.
Scott and Carrie kindled a campfire in my heart of self confidence and individuality that burns bright months after I leave the camp gates.

Camp Tipp has been a major part of our kids lives. This will be Madison's 10th year in a row and 8 for Marcus. We've had the benefit of watching Scott and Carrie transform camp Tipp into a first class camping experience during their tenure. The continued upgrades to the grounds and facilities, in additon offering a variety of highly inclusive opportunities for kids of all ages have made camp Tippecanoe a truly remarkable place. Our kid's lives have been positively impacted by their camp experience. And to that, we are truly thankful for the hard work and dedication that the Weigleys have put in.

This summer will me my tenth summer at Tipp. Before Camp, I was too shy to speak to anyone outside of my close family. I was quiet, and scared of other people. When I went to camp I met so many friends and it felt easier to talk to people. Now, I make friends everywhere I go and I never stop talking. I will never forget what Scott said on my first night of camp. He helped me realize that sometimes you've just gotta let go of your "baggage" and that has helped me through almost ten years of my life. Without those words, or what Scott and Carrie have done, I wouldn't be the person I am today. They make every camper feel accepted no matter what. Every year on my last night of camp I cry. A lot. I cry because camp is a place where you have no worries, lots of friends, and you can truly be yourself. I truly believe that without Scott and Carrie, camp just wouldn't be the same. They are camp, they keep the fire going.

I wouldn't be who I am as a person if it wasn't for Scott and Carrie. They were like parents to me, and I can't think of anyone better to improve Camp Tippecanoe and it's campers/counselors
