Rid of FSRA and using work benefits when in a car accident.

not every person has EHC benefits. Those that do should have a reduced car insurance premium because the MVA accident benefits payable are reduced by the amount of EHC coverage available.

I should not have to exhaust my medical benefits to take care of my injuries from an auto accident, leaving me without coverage for my pre-existing conditions that the auto insurance company will not pay for.

The system is unfair, cumbersome, and unnecessary. People pay two premiums for EHC and Car insurance separately and unrelated. Why should they go through their EHC prior to their car insurance?! Totally unfair.

I administer MVA plans at our clinic. Having to submit to extended healthcare plans is cumbersome and not always timely. Many people pay for their benefits with AFTER TAX DOLLARS, and then have to use those benefits so that auto insurers can avoid payouts? And we pay insurance premiums as well???

As a clinic owner, this change in regulations would be very helpful. As a patient, it would be nice to know that a car accident injury now, would not prevent me from accessing future care for unrelated injuries later on.

The system as it is structured now makes no sense, and is unfair to policy holders.

Just fair to auto insurers to pay for treatment from a car accident.

I am a physio with numerous MVA clients and all complained that they shouldn't be required to use work benefits for their MVA injuries. I have had some that couldn't treat their chronic tennis elbow because they used all their benefits up

Changing this will reduce red tape and allow patients to use their employee benefits for other injuries as they should.

Absolutely ridiculous that car insurance companies have scammed this for so long

This has been an unfair and cumbersome process for clinics and victims of MVA’s

as a physiotherapist I very strongly support this changes. it was very unfair for patients and a lot of extra paper work for the providers

The current system just doesn’t make sense. Why should one’s private health care cover health expenses for automobile injuries. Isn’t that why we have automobile insurance.
Insurance has no right to touch our work benefits.
