Rene has been a role model for my boys and has lovingly supported all junior and adult tennis programs at Woodlake. His teaching skills and ability to unite the tennis members and volunteers at Woodlake is what makes our community one of the strongest in the metro Richmond area. Please bring Rene back and stop generating discord in the the middle of the long-awaited tennis season (since we have no covered courts). My family wants to see Rene back in charge of the courts and tennis programs!

Don't know why he would be leaving. He has been with us a long time and is an asset to the club.

It's because of Rene's hard work that the clay courts are in great shape and worth playing on. For many years, the courts were not maintained properly and were an embarrassment for USTA play hosted at Woodlake. Rene has the respect and support of Men's tennis at Woodlake.

Rene is the heart & soul of the Woodlake Tennis Community. I cannot imagine Woodlake Tennis Club without him.

Rene was my first tennis instructor, who inspired me to be my best. Without his instruction, I wouldn't have been motivated to become a top player on Cosby's Varsity tennis team. This man has a heart for teaching youth and deserves nothing less than to be the Director of Tennis at Woodlake. His love for tennis is infectious. He is a strong and experienced teacher, and influences players to be their best.

Rene' must stay! Our family moved here 16-17 years ago and chose Woodlake because of the strong tennis program. All these many years of having a Woodlake Full membership for our family, I have never felt more sad as to how our club decision makers are treating our friend and tennis pro Rene' (not to mention all the other hats he wore). We stand behind Rene and want to have him reinstated as the head of our club again. This club is about being a family...Rene is the head of our family.

Piazzas are leaving the club unless this unfortunate decision is reversed and there is a change in leadership and structure by which the club is governed. Rene has effected the lives of so many of our members and youth tennis. Our family will be forever grateful for what he has done for us and our daughter Mandy. We foresee the end of Woodlake Tennis as we knew it. Not good for the residents.

Rene is the sole reason my daughters have participated in the junior tennis clinics in the past and look forward to doing so again this summer. His excitement and enthusiasm for tennis is contagious.

Rene has the full support of our family. Matthew worked for him at the courts, and found him to be a fair and generous employer, as well as patient and kind. Maggie has benefitted from his teaching as well as his support during her high school tennis career. As a player and a sponsor, I consider Rene's presence at Woodlake to be invaluable. He maintains a positive attitude, he is encouraging to everyone, he is kind in his constructive comments, and he is unbelievably funny. Rene is family. Please restore him to his Director of Tennis position. He is an asset to Woodlake and to the Woodlake tennis community.

Rene has my full support. He taught both my children to play tennis and I am very grateful. He is a super guy and a great servant leader. He needs to be quickly re-instated as Director of Tennis at Woodlake.

Rene is an awesome person and tennis instructor! I am new to tennis and he has helped build my confidence in my abilities and progress. I have missed taking lessons with him and hope to have the opportunity to take lessons with him again soon at Woodlake soon.
