My son attended Walnut Street school, and Mr. Weber was such an asset to the team and a great role model to the community.

Aaron is an amazing art teacher. He is fun and kind and loves his students. My favorite part of his teaching style is his focus on modern day non traditional artists. It really emphasizes the importance of art 'today', for the next generation of young artists.

As a teacher, I firmly believe that the students need art. Not all shine academically, but all deserve a chance to shine.

There are not enough teachers on any given day in schools, let alone one that will go above and beyond, spend his after hours time guiding students. Why would his contract not be renewed!

My daughter wants to be an artist thanks to Mr. Aaron. He has a special way of connecting with the students and encouraging them to show their creativity. He it's also well known in the community for using art to bring people together. It would be a travesty for our schools and our town to lose him. Please reconsider

Finding teachers that actually support, encourage and motivate their students, isn’t an easy task. Woodbury should understand this, first hand. As a lifelong resident, I’m noticing most of our administrators, don’t care about the personal and emotional development of our children. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how important this aspect is to academic success. That wasn’t the case for Mr. Aaron. He genuinely loves our students. I’ve watched many of his interactions with students and they love him too. I’ve witnessed him showing up, after school hours, to sporting events to support our students. When you find a good teacher, you hold on to them, for the sake of our children. It would be nice, if the district, actually started considering the students.

My kids all attended West End and have participated in Art in the Street over the years. To allow Mr. Aaron to leave both the city program and the schools is a travesty. Hopefully those who want Mr. Aaron to not be involved with both the city and school programs will rethink what is arguably a very unintelligent decision. We will never be able to replace him should that happen.
