I do believe that this mobile home single wide trailer park would have a serious impact on the whay’s creek communities. Especially Inland harbor which is a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. There are small children and some handicapped children that live in the neighborhood and it would cause more traffic with Mr. Haynie allowing access to waterfront rights. It also will decrease the value of these properties! I also know that first hand in which I see my own neighborhood has changed over 20 yrs. Whays creek road is a very narrow road and can be a little bit of a blind spot at the top entrance of inland harbor subdivision. People walk, ride bikes and walk their dogs. I ask for extreme concern that Mr. Haynie find another place on other properties he owns if he wants to start a trailer park. I think a place where it can be done correctly and would not have impact on other neighborhoods.

This will no doubt bring down property values. Trailer park type units are known to bring crime and drug use to their areas

A trailer park is not a good fit for the local residents, the land, and the natural habitat of fish, crabs, and oysters.

This type of development has no place adjoining or being part of the watershed area for Whays Creek.Public utilities, neither sewer and/or water, are available on this property and a project this size should encompass both.

Project will significantly diminish or impair property values and will increase danger to pedestrians using Whays Creek Road.

I was in favor of the Solar project, but this proposal would clearly be detrimental to What's Creek!

an EPA study needs to be done to show the effects of sewage and groundwater runoff in Whays and Warehouse Creeks. All lots drain to these two creeks producing oysters, crabs and other wildlife.

This is not the best use of waterfront property and it would create traffic issues.

I strongly urge the board to reject the special use permit for a trailer park on Whays Creek rd. This will not be in the community's best interest.

Making changes to zoning districts creates distrust ! People purchase land and homes based on zoning districts and what is allowed in that district. The potential for devaluing existing improved property should never occur at the hands of local governance.

It appears Mr Hanie, through Applications Strategies LLC, owns the lot at Map 37B double circle 1, parcel 35. This is the 1.8 acre R-2 lot at the end of Captains Way. It is my belief that the waterfront access is to this lot - which his employees and family have historically used for recreational activities. As indicated in these comments, the application is materially incomplete and missing a number of items central to understanding the impacts to surrounding areas. The petition should not be considered without those facts - including the plans for the second R-2 parcel not addressed in the application - but overtly referenced in the current advertising.
