I'm definitely against these kids not being able to carry their back packs from class to class!! 4 minutes is not enough time to go from one end of the school to the other in a crowded hallway while having to stop at their lockers. The drawstring bags would cause contact stress from trying to carry everything in them all at once, and it will cause soft tissue damage!!!

West is going down hill, and it's only getting worse. This is ridiculous. What else are you supposed to use a backpack for? If someone is going to sneak a weapon in, they'll find a way to do it. If someone is in a fight and they're going to pull a knife they aren't going to say "wait I have to get my knife out of my backpack." Maybe west should have security guards who actually try to protect the school rather then just flirt with the teenage girls all day.

I understand that situation. But honestly. If you are going to take away backpacks. Atleast cut back on books. Imagine Sophomore's and Juniors with all those classes that you need books for. I'm a senior of west and this is my first complaint in 4 years. And i'm hoping this is my last.

I think the passing time should go back to 6 minuets as well. There is no way anyone can push their way through the crowded hallways and get to class on time, especially when their next class is literally on the opposite side of the building. Plus the whole no going in the building before 7:30-7:50 is not nessisary.

This rule makes no sense and half of us don't have time to go to our lockers in the 4 minute passing time. They should spend less time forcing us to take our backpacks to our locker in the middle of class and more time letting us make sure we always have everything for each class with us and keeping us in class.

I 100% agree with everyone, it's not right for us to just like carrying our textbooks and binders without a book bag and they should make our passing time like our normal one (six minutes) idc if we are switched the days to hours, I want to have the right to travel to other classes 6 minutes and be able to use our book bags and travel.

With carrying back packs we don't have to worry about leaving something in our locker and having to go back and get it missing time in class. This is the most unthought rule made at wets high school.
