Kilburn wouldn't be the same without Wendy - I wouldn't have made it through my degree without her brilliant coffee and upbeat chats every morning.

The Byte cafe and especially Wendy is the heart of the Kilburn building. It would be a HUGE mistake to close it, as everyone absolutely adores Wendy and her incomparable service.

As a former student that occasionally comes back for open days and careers fairs - It is always great to see Wendy, and she has always been a friendly face in the Kilburn building since my first year back in 2011

This shouldn't just be about financial viability. The Byte Cafe
provides a key social function that contributes to the community of
the School/Department. That feeling of community is something that
comes up year on year in student surveys and losing it would be to the
detriment of our student experience. If the University truly wishes to
be seen to be investing in people (and not just buildings), decisions like
this need to be re-evaluated.

Hi,
Byte Cafe in Kilburn Building provided so much convenience to the people who just need a cuppa when working/coding intensively in Kilburn Building.
It also provides a nice environment for team project meetings while enjoying a good warm drink.
Please keep Byte Cafe in Kilburn Building.

Not just a convenient cafe - but a good location for non post-grad but CS meetings with student projects etc.

Byte Cafe is central to Kilburn, I'm not sure I would have gotten through uni without a steady stream of coffee provided from the cafe.
