Support CTV Ottawa News Anchor Carol Anne Meehan

Haven't watched ctv news ottawa since announcing Carol Anne Meehan's firing. Bell Media underestimated the "loyalty" we have towards the respected news anchor woman. Their treatment of her firing will most likely be the downfall of their news station at 6:00pm.

Like others, still upset about this. Bell thinks this will all just fade away. 18,000 people so far will not forgive or forget. Proud of the folks who have gotten rid of their services and switched to CBC news too (personally really liking it). Richardson was a horrible choice to replace dear Max. He's stone faced, boring , no emotion and totally stiff. Carol Anne was the one with the warmth and humour, her luv of animals was always endearing. I hope Ms Meehan has a nice Xmas with her family and the best is yet to come for her in 2016!!

So so sorry to see you gone but you were delt hard cards and I know you will survive the outcome. The only thing is we don't want to wish any wrong doing to anybody. But faith is always at hand. If this is how bell treats people who are valued by so many of their viewers and community I don't want anything to do with ctv. Reinstate Carol to get a little of the respect back Bell. Carol has a following that Bell doesn't have. We all miss her dearly.

Will miss Carol Anne very much. She was just such a warm personality and feeling. Will switch TV 6:00 o'clock news.

I can't believe CTV would do this. What has Carol Anne ever done wrong? Nothing! She is a brilliant news anchor, & loved by all. Bell Media needs to think its decision, & rehire her. This is ridiculous!

I would love to see her back on air if that's what she wants. She has a great personality and she always felt like family. This is so unfair

Bring Carol Anne Meehan back to us!! I refuse to watch CTV, listen to there radio stations, cancelled any subscriptions i has with Bell untill correction has been made.

I will never watch CTV again! We all know the staff are a family and they didn't dare to let Carol Anne go while Max was still alive!

Carol Anne Meehan is part of our every day life. She is with me while I get dinner ready and I truly enjoy watching her. She is very much engaged in the community and I really enjoy how she present the news to us and her down to hearth personality made us feel like we knew her personaly and that she was a friend. This is quite shocking to find out that she has been layed off... how can this be happening such a good news anchor. To be honest, I am looking forward to seeing her again on CTV News at 6 o'clock! Carol Ann Meehan has been the soul of CTV Ottawa Six o'clock News..her warmth and natural style are missed already..funny, I am watching more CBC news lately at 6.wonder why? bring back ,Carol Ann!

I am a Bell shareholder and you can gladly reduce my dividend if you give us Carol Ann back.

Carole Anne added a great dynamic and a classy presence to her team. I'm not interested in watching the CTV news/airing without her. I do not scorn change often, but this has a labelled, one-word description: ridiculous! Shame on you Bell Media.
