I can't believe what Bell Media has done to CJOH in general and Carol Anne in particular. You have lost the whole essence of the large community of the Ottawa Valley. You continue to hire "hood ornaments" rather than value tried and true journalists. Your decisions are wrong. As I am sure that veterans like J.J. will be the next to fall, I will no longer watch your television station.

We are shocked, saddened & bitterly disappointed. Carol Ann is a gem. She provided a palpable connection with the community and will be missed for her professionalism, expertise, devoted community involvement and gentle sense of humour. After 27 years, we developed a high level of trust and appreciation. What an enormous loss for the Ottawa and area community! We wish her the very best.
After 4 decades of watching CTV News, we will be moving to the CBC. We have lost faith and trust in CTV management. Your actions are shameful. Was Carol Ann "walked out of the building"? No chance to say goodbye to viewers? After 27 years of extraordinary service to the community?
There is something terribly wrong with this.

This move by Bell Media has been a cold and heartless way to end a meaningful career of a wonderful lady, anchor for 27 yrs and well respected by all. Please reconsider and at least give her a fitting farewell , an apology and a chance for her viewers to say "Goodbye".
