Carol Anne has been the reason I have watched CTV Ottawa for more than 20 years. I will now watch CBC. You didn't even have the guts to explain her absence tonight or why her photo had suddenly been cut.

Carol Ann went above and beyond her duties! SHAME ON YOU Bell Media for letting her go! We just lost Max Keeping and now you lay her off shortly after how disgusting!! I will not watch your Morning show or the 6pm news HOW DISGUSTING! I hope to god she comes back via her union reps comments and shows you who's boss!!! So disrespectful on so many levels.

Carol Anne Meehan is a role model for women and girls throughout Ottawa and The Valley as is Carolyn Waldo. The viewers connect with her on so many levels. We let her into our living rooms every night. It is Carol Anne that connects CTV Ottawa to the viewers of your newscast. Your ratings will suffer greatly with this decision. SHAME ON YOU!
