I believe not only Carol Anne Meehan but also Carolyn Waldo have become almost like family to the city of Ottawa and beyond. Their lay-off has upset an entire City. Shame on you.

Carol Anne Meehan was the backbone of that newscast, let alone all she did for her community for the past 27 years.
Shame on you keeping Grahame Richardson who can not even read the prompter without stumbling many times during the newscast. Horrible excuse for a news anchor.
Watched tonight without Carol Anne and it will be the last time I watch CTV.
Carolyn Waldo will be missed on the sports desk as well.
Who is next? J.J. Clarke?, Michael O'Byrne? They have served the community for many years too.
Not surprised if Steve Madely was not part of your plan as well.

Removing an icon like her from Bell Media is the biggest mistake they could make. Shame on you Bell Media.
