This was a media crime when Carole Ann was let go and especially the way it happened. The 6 o'clock news was something we all looked forward to. Now there is no warmth or humor and this news cast is not worth watching without Carole Ann.

Bad choice to lay off. Carol Anne is much loved in Ottawa. There are others you could have chosen first. Looks like they went after the pay scale.

I thoroughly enjoy coming home each evening to watch the news. The loss of Carol Anne and Carolyn is making CJOH look like a men's club, and not reflective of the community it serves.

Although she was very rude when I met her last year, as she shopped at a store I work at. I don't recommend laying her off. She is very good at what she does.

I am a senior business owner who religiously watches the 6:00PM news. I watch primarily because I appreciate the values and insight Carol Anne brings to the news desk. I find the other anchor - Right chard son just reads the he TelePrompTer and rarely offers any personal thoughts.
My second reason is to hear JJ Clarke cover the weather. He again brings his personal knowledge and insight about the local area to his job.
Shame on you Bell Media. You could just do away with all the key personnel and offer a taped audio delivered by a pretty face from anywhere - that would minimize your expenses BUT I guarantee your revenues would plummet!
Cutting Carol Anne was very penny wise and pound foolish. Your methods of dismissal were also heartless and vulgar.
Shame on you and your senior staff members who clearly don't understand this media and why people choose to watch!!
