This is not the way to treat a long time treasured employee. She should have been given the chance to say good-bye to her viewers at least.She is part of the Ottawa TV family and should be re-instated if she wishes. It is very sad to put the other employees in this position also. It must be a very uncomfortable place to work now!

She is one of our community leaders and her lay off is totally wrong. I guess Bell Media really do not want to satisfy their customers, they just want our money. Big business decisions made by people that do not have a clue about our city and who is a leader in our city.

Carol Anne Meehan is family and what you did to her after all these years that she has been loyal to CTV is pathetic and mean. Money ISN'T EVERYTHING. How come all the Big Shots at Bell keep their jobs and get Bigger wages. So not fair.
