I have grown up watching Carol Ann on CJOH now CTV Ottawa. They should be ashamed that they are letting someone of her caliber go. If money is a problem, then start cutting the bonuses and or salaries of the people at the top.

Why is it the women get laid off but the men get to stay? Richardson is a "newer" hire - he should have been cut before Meehan who has signority. Are we still doing this (sexism) is 2015!!!???

:Once again Bell Media has stooped even lower than it has in the past. Any division of Bell needs all the help it can get these days, and to let a loyal CTV anchor go, our beloved Carol Anne Meehan, after 27 years of service is disgraceful. I expect that this decision was held off until Max Keeping passed on, because those of you in The Star chamber were too afraid to let Max know of your plan for he would have stood up for her and put you in your places - in the unemployment line.
Colour me even more disgusted than I was last month.
Shame on you, Bell Media.
