It is a sad day. No loyalty, no sense of community, no recognition for a community leader. She was respected and loved. Your company clearly does not value that.

Letting Carol Anne go would be a great disservice to the Ottawa network. After Max retired it wasn't the same and viewers left, if Carol Anne goes the family atmosphere will be done with and viewers like myself will leave also.

You must reconsider. Carol Anne IS the evening news. She has already had to deal with enough these last few years. Allow her to continue her good work with ctv evening news.

How disgusting that a company that make millions annually can unjustly fire someone after 27 years of service. No doubt to replace her with someone half as young at half the price.

I'm a student and I've been watching the news since I was a kid. Carol is very well respected and an influential character in our community. I would hate to see a woman so passionate about serving her community lose her job just so a company worth probably billions can save a few dollars

CTV's loss - reinstate IF she's willing to come back. Missed her this evening & was shocked when GR announced the lay-off. Not impressed
