Carol Anne is a local and comforting face on CTV Ottawa news and this decision to cut her was though less and careless, to even considering the viewership. She's lost her husband and good friend Max and is raising her children on her own. How cold is the network to let her go! Time to watch CBC news instead if this is not reconsidered.

Idiots, think I will cancel my Bell Tv, and other crap I have with them
We have to keep Carol-Anne on the news she is wonderful at her position. She brings a lot of sunshine to the team. We love you.

This is disgusting. She was there one night and gone the next without a proper explanation or farewell. Is this how Bell Media treats its people? Again, disgusting!

Unbelievable that they would lay off Carol Anne when they have junior journalists who do not meet the standards of Carol Anne.
