Bell media should be ashame, there heartless decision to lay off Carol Ann Meehan is unexplainable to me. She is an excellent anchor and well loved. I find it interesting that they payed off the female anchor but kept all the males in the news team.

She does nit deserve to be treated like this. Once Max departed due to health reasons she became the face of CTV Ottawa. She demonstrated to all she us a strong woman when having to deal with the loss if her husband. Then not even 2 months ago had to say good bye to Max. Then CTV Ottawa gives her a pink slip. SERIOUSLY the person who made that decision is the one who should be given the pink slip and give Caroline back her job. It us the right thing to do. She is Ottawa.

Carol Anne has been a staple in the media of Ottawa for years and continues to be one of the most recognizable and trusted in the business. She in no way deserves this fate. People in Ottawa look forward to seeing her on tv every night and that is the way it should stay !!

I've grown up watching Carol Anne and Max doing the news together. What a slap in the face to a loyal employee to lay her off just after one of her close friends and fellow co-worker passes away. SHAME on you!
