Huge mistake by Bell Media. Carol Ann is the face of the CTV news in Ottawa. CTV will new will never be a priority for our family at 6:00 p,m. anymore. As much as I hate to switch, I will now be watching CBC as our news source. I don't think Bell Media has any idea how this low blow $ decision will affect their bottom line in the National Capital Region. No Bell, cell, internet, cable for us. The word is spreading already. Get ready Rogers, Telus to pick a lot of new business.

I can only HOPE AND PRAY that Bell Media will give a rats ass about this petition. In all honesty i really doubt Carol Ann WOULD Come back....the damage had already been done!!!! Bell Media..your corporate bullying has done it again!!

I will not be watching the news as much as I used to. We made a point to watch it every night. I cannot believe you let Carol Anne go and kept all the morning news staff. There are too many of them and they lack the experience and the maturity. Big, Big mistake!!!

Companies need to understand how important the relationship is that people in the media form with their audience .. This will result in lost revenue so they are not helping their bottom line if this is what Carol Anne's termination is all about . She should get her job back NOW!

I don't understand the reasoning behind this decision. She has seniority, experience, dedication and compassion. She provides a caring face when news is grim. I've enjoyed watching her and I think it's a shame to let someone go who brings so much to the CTV Ottawa news audience every evening.

We are appalled at this decision and sadden the method used where Carol Anne was not given an opportunity to say goodbye or negotiate this so wrong direction. If not corrected we will definitely boycott CTV in view of this bad choice from unknown cowards who they themselves should be the ones to go.
