Why aren't they taking off the bottom of the corporate ladder rather than the top. Sounds fishy to me.

I don't think you really thought this through. Carol Anne was a staple on the nightly news and it breaks my heart that you let her go. Big mistake! There are others there that should have been let go LONG before you let your top notch anchor go. Shame on you all!

I have been a loyal follower of CTV news for over 54yrs and after this move to limit local personalities and move to a more provincial style will force me to change my television channel of preference. Shame on CTV Bell Media for its lack of respect for its viewers and its personalities. (If Max was still around this would have never happened) so much for their commitment for local news.

My husband and I have been watching ctv news with Max and Carol Anne as long as they both have been on; Max left due to his illness, may he rest in peace; Carol Anne made the news worth watching; Graham is ok, but if Carol Anne does not get her job back as anchor, we will stop watching ctv news; whatever happened to seniority? And why did she lose her job and not Graham? Maybe because she is female? Shame on you Bell media...shame on you?

I watch CTV News -- rather than CBC or Global or any other of the many choices for TV news -- for one reason: Carol Anne Meehan. She is a trusted and personable news anchor, who has carried the community of viewers through thick and thin. Bring her back. PLEASE. If you need to cut costs, fire the highly paid idiot administrator who made the decision to let her go.

It is crazy for Carol Anne to lose her job that she does so well. I look forward to her coming in to my living room every evening to do the news cast. she has been here for the past 27 years and and is the best community leader ever. Please give Carol Anne back her job.
