Carol Anne is not only part of our lives through our tv, she IS part of our community, an ambassador for numerous causes and more importantly, a hometown girl from Pembroke. Years of dedicated service to your channel as well as the community should be worth more to BELL than the dollars saved not having her around - and the dollars spent recovering from the public relations nightmare you have created in laying her off.If Bell wants to save money, bring her back and make the viewers... her extended family who sit down with her nightly over news and supper... your allies and not have them disgusted on how faceless BELL treated the face of CTV and Ottawa/Ottawa valley.

Since Max retired, Carol Anne has been the reason I continued to watch CTV news Ottawa. Guess I will have to find another channel to watch local news. Not nice to see a company that is making money getting rid of people.

Carol Anne Meehan has been a part of the Ottawa area homes during the supper hour for almost three decades and this is the way Bell Media treats her. I am totally disappointed with this decision. I hope you will reconsider bringing her back, otherwise I will have to find another news station to watch.

Carol Anne is one of our most respected News anchor's here in Ottawa with more experience and talent than others - Do not agree with your decision. She is why I tuned into that news broadcast. Please reconsider your decision- and bring Carl Anne back- she is the voice of Ottawa News !
