I would recommend to seriously reconsider your decision to let go Carol Ann Meehan and Caroline Waldo. These ladies are a great reason why you have so many viewers. At the end of the day excessive profit is not the only decisive factor for success.

Why would you ever get rid of Carol Anne?!?! With respect to Graham, who I'm sure is a nice guy, I don't think he is very well suited for this job. In fact, I can't stand his TV 'personality' so I will stop watching the news now.

It's unbelievable that you would lay off the most liked AND competent of your two anchors. Richardson is the worst, always tied up in his words. He has the personality of a rock. Bring Carol Anné back now.

Carol Anne is truly a News Anchor. Anchor being the operative word. She has demonstrated this over the years with her extensive experience which translates in the way she delivers the news honestly, with class, and has captured the trust of the Ottawa community. I think that letting her go is a major faux pas, especially in this rather conservative community that is Ottawa.

I've spent three quarters of my life watching Carol. I think this is the dumbest thing you've ever done. All bell services cancelled. Also will no longer tune in, visit website or have anything to do with CTV.

She has been the humanity to ctv news for the past 20 something years. I wachted the news last night was it was so cold unpersonal i think if she doesn't come back a lit if viewers will switch to other stations. This was a very bad move on your part. People need a living familiar face to deliver the to us in our home Not just guys who matter of factly give us the news. I will not be watching ctv news anymore. Sad very sad we just list Max keeping and now your takung Carol Anne. How heartless and inhumane of you

Did anyone notice that Bell let go both the female news anchor and sports reporter (Carol-Anne and Carolyn)? This is wrong! I enjoyed watching both of them. They were both professional and personable. What's going on here?

Bring Carol Anne Meehan back along with the dozens of employees that you laid off. These people all did great jobs and put in an honest day's work. Can you say that about yourselves. Is shaving some salaries to save a few bucks worth losing thousands of loyal and dedicated viewers? The bottom line is not always what it seems. Bell Media, you are treading on very thin water. You have other divisions that could be seriously see a drop in customers too. You should seriously reconsider. Your bottom line may be more affected if you lose many viewers and that could lead in loss of advertising revenue.
