She was the reason why I started watching the news. She has been an amazing, experienced news anchor for several years and it is disgusting how CTV disregards her seniority and all of her contributions. This is not acceptable and I have lost a lot of respect for CTV news because of this!

This was a heartless firing to save a multi-billion company a few bucks. You've really shot yourself in the foot removing an Ottawa icon from your conglomerate, dedication is not in your vocabulary, nor is it in mine when it comes to my subscription to the many Bell services. Make it right or really let your shareholders feel the wrath of losing more than a couple of bucks.

Carol Anne Meehan has been a part of the Ottawa area evening news for many, many years and this is the way Bell Media treats her. I am totally shocked and disappointed with this decision. I hope you will reconsider bringing her back, otherwise I fear you will lose many loyal viewers, myself included. Please bring Carol Anne back!
