Why would Bell let go a main connection to the entire viewing area. The reason CTV Ottawa is the #1 'local' news program is because of this connection.

I was initially appalled when Graham Richardson replaced Max Keeping as anchor and not Carol Anne Meehan. Graham always looks artificial and dismissive in his demeanour while Carol Anne connects with the viewers and is far more professional. Max Keeping would not have stood for this type of irresponsible decision and I am certain that is why this stupidity happened after his passing. Shame on you Bell Media. Hire her back now.

I was so shocked to hear this news. I have enjoyed listening to her every evening ever since I moved to Ottawa 6 years ago. It is a huge loss and CTV news will never be the same without her.

I advertise on CTV and re-considering since pricing will no longer match viewership numbers!!! Hope something comes of this because Bell media is making a serious mistake. What a blunder on their part.

I believe Carol Ann deserved to keep her job above Graham cause she has been there longest. We need fairness in the workplace . If she is offered and declines that is OK but she was at least validated and acknowledged for her years of services. Yes it will different is she became the main player on Ctv news and is a woman and we are not use to it but in 2015 I feel discrimation needs to change. You value the person not the sex. And she clearly has been in her position the longest... I only wish her what she deserves. Respect, validation, appreciate and justice .
