Without Carol I would rather catch up with the daily news through my local papers on social media. The news is not the same without this amazing lady who I have followed since I was young!! I will not watch this station if she's forever gone! You pretty much laid off all of Ottawa when this lady was let go. Why would you rid of the BEST??? Rethink your decision...

I am disappointed at the lack of compassion and respect that this decision shows. I also notice that an experienced female is expendable. I will not be watching any coverage on CTV News.

I guess if they can just drop an employee after 27 years, we should but drop our Bell services. Rogers here we come!

It is sad to see this wonderful person leave CTV Ottawa. Unfortunately, many large corporation are doing the same thing to long time employees.

Carol Anne Meehan is a staple good in our home. She is warm personable and the main reason I watch CTV News. Above all she is the best news anchor an gives so much back to the community. Has Bell Media lost their minds? I am sure Bell Media will lose many viewers over this.but they don't care after all she is just a person we love.

Disgusting! The fact she didn't get to say goodbye to her followers! And keeping graham... Poor choice, he bores me to tears.
