Why don't you let Bell Media know what you think of this decision by cancelling any services you have by Bell and let them know exactly why. They had a profit of 183 million last year.

Hard to find the words...heartless, cruel and likely one of the worst decisions that could have been made. Carol Anne is part of the heart and soul of this community and the reason why people watch(ed) CTV Ottawa. Huge error in judgment on the part of Bell Media.

Why wasn't Graham Richardson let go. He has been an awful repacement for Max. He can't get through a single news story without putting awkward pauses in his news reading. he invents his own punctuation. My family never watches CTV news when Graham is the only anchor. We tune in for Carol Anne. Obviously Bell is not in touch with the Ottawa community, nor is Graham Richardson. That's it for us watching CTV news at 6:00... Thank you Carol Ann, you'll be sadly missed!

If petition is not effective Ottawa consumers should threaten withdrawal from all Bell media services... Phone,cable etc

Bell Media - you should be ASHAMED for what you have done. You have shown zero loyalty to Carol Anne Meehan, so guaranteed any loyalty the public had towards you will be lost forever if this wrong is not righted!!!!

Why lay off someone who knows Ottawa and is great as an ancor. The younger Journalist will have an easier time to find employment. CJOH Newscast was the best in the area - don't change was working.

Terrible decision by Bell Media! Carol Ann represents what's best about Ottawa. To paraphrase our new PM, it's 2015...you don't fire an "older" woman with years of experience and loyal service to most likely replace her with a younger woman. I personally have lost complete interest in CTV news.

CBC News looking better and better......to the idiot at Bell Media that made the horrific decision to lay Carol Anne Meehan off should have his/her head read. 27 years of dedicated service down the drain. I would only hope that the numbers / comments on this petition say it all!! Well thought out plan on Bell Media's part --NOT!!!

Seniority and loyalty should have weighed in on the decision of lay offs at Bell Media........ Ohhh so that wasn't thought of? Well maybe the decision to let go of one of the most respected news anchors at your station was NOT a wise one. Carol Anne deserves better treatment than this, you all should be ashamed......what a unfortunate loss for those of us who look forward to welcoming Carol Anne into our homes daily!!!
