Media moguls are heartless. I'm sure the decisions made were driven purely by money and the desire/need to save money. How they could just cut somebody loose like that is beyond me!

I am appalled that you would treat the people who have meant so much to this community with such disregard. This demonstrates little more than contempt for the people of Ottawa by trimming respected local news personalities rather than trimming the fat from corporate management if money is tight. Of course, that belies the fact that your television revenue is actually up, year over year, by more than 6% or $100,000,000!

I have grown up watching Carol Anne and it's infuriating to know that they won't just let her finish her career at the station. If she leaves she should be leaving on her own terms.

This is unbelievable! Have you not been in touch with Ottawa? Carol Anne is part of our after dinner schedule. I noticed the 3 mens positions were left in tact. You need to open your ears and do your reporting to see what Ottawa wants. Max would be ashamed of you right now!!! I am ashamed of you, and will not be in touch with news broadcast. Shame on You!
