I think it wasn't right to lay off a dedicated employee as was Carol Ann she was the face and voice of Ottawa and a Valley news at six every night. The work and dedication she did besides the news as a community leader she love the people all over the Ottawa Valley. It was a big mistake to let her go please bring her back when she belongs.I bet Max is looking down with miss belive this is happening.

Why Carol Anne she has been a pillar in our community 27 years of loyal service and she gets this shame on you what would Max Keeping think of this if you want to cut back cut out Leanne Cusack, Jeff Hopper, Lianne Lang etc from your morning show they are so boring and to me they have no talent at all for morning news honestly you mae the biggest mistake BELL MEDIA again I say SHAME ON YOU

I am sad and outraged by the treatment Carol Anne received - no chance to say goodbye and obviously no warning of her firing. She has been a wonderful anchor and a role model in her years of giving to charitable causes. I will no longer be watching CTV. I guess the CBC will the winner in this despicable turn of events.

Bring Carole Ann back! She is a dedicated employee which has been demonstrated over the years that deserves respect from the company she so diligently supported and one that is respected as was Max throughout the Ottawa community. If not they have lost me as another viewer.

I can not believe that Bell has decided to let Carol-Anne go. I won't watch this news cast without her.

Disgusted is the word that come's to mind on this! To treat someone that has been in our home nightly and a dedicated loyal person to CTV in this manner makes my blood boil!! You leave us with Graham who is cold, unsmiling and boring is deplorable. Carol Anne has dedicated countless hours of herself to help just about all charities in our community and this is how she is treated !!!! Shame on you wanting to keep the young women around and removing a proven anchor from our home. I will be heading to CBC.!!!!!!!

This is like losing Max a second time. We need Carol Anne as we have grown to love her and respect her over the years. I will not watch CTV Ottawa News unless and until she returns to her desk.

Carol Anne Meehan is much better than Graham Richardson... He makes too many mistakes.. stumble on words. Carol Anne is much smoother and easier to listen to. After Max she should have anchored the news alone... I agree you don't need two people... I never liked the tag team news delivery.
Carol Anne is a much better presenter.. .... I am not going to listen to Graham Richardson... nothing personal against him its just that I never warmed up to him.

Carol Anne is the best anchor we have in this city at the present time.
Richardson cannot ad lib at all, gets all flustered with the smallest glitch. Bell you are making a huge mistake. I will now take my viewing to the local CBC news. Thank you for chopping another local resident in favour of an out-of-towner, with no connection to Ottawa.

she embodies local news in the same vein as Max Keeping! Unless she wants to retire I would say this is a big mistake!

Another stupid decision by Bell Media. But then we already know they don't care about the people who actually watch the local news.

Very irritating to watch. Might be perceived as a role model and a well known figure in ottawa however not the same person when the camera isn't on her. Rude and obnoxious woman that can't get enough of herself. If she was let go, there are very likely good reasons we don't know about that go beyond reading the news. From the annoying laugh to akward pauses, she must've been hard to work with. The way she looked thru the camera exhibited sheer arrogance.
