barely mentioned the story about the lay offs on CTV 2 on the morning show,

I grew up watching Carol Anne, shame on Bell, they made the wrong move and are alienating what was left of audience.

Carol Anne has been a huge part of Ottawa all my life and before! You cannot just lay off someone that important to the community!

Bell, you have fired the heart of CTV News, your latest mindless move! I have long ago divested myself of your services and now will no longer be watching this news option. You have gutted it of any local value. Dumb and heartless. Good-bye and good riddance!

I will no longer watch CTV news. Why would you get rid of Carol? She is wonderful and so much more polished than Graham Richardson. I am encouraging my friends to sign this...and a lot of my Facebook friends are giving up CTV news too.

Carol Anne Meehan deserves better than this laying off. You have made a terrible mistake Bell Media and your followers will fall rapidly.

How could you possibly let go one of the most well liked announcers. Always enjoyed listening to her. Bring her back.
