Why is it not "last man in, first man out". I think if a decision had to be made between the two anchors then The last "man" in should be the one to leave.....

Very upsetting situation. I loved to watch the news with Carol Anne and Carolyn . It is a shame that they never got a chance to say goodbye. Will not be watching CTV from now on.

As a seasoned news anchor, Carol Anne Meehan connects with her TV viewers. She embraces her community and its people. Bad business decisions such as laying off the wrong person potentially leads to bad news reporting with cold anchor people such as Graham Richardson. Let Graham replace Lisa LaFlamme on CTV National News and bring back Carol Anne!

Carol Anne Meehan has been devoted to CTV News and the Ottawa commuity for 27 years. It's time for CTV to reward that loyalty and service by giving her job back and making her the sole anchor of the 6 p.m news. She is much more trusted and revered than her male counterpart.

Sometimes a business can hurt its core operations by chopping too deep. This is by far one of those cases. This would be like chopping Max Keeping. Until she is re-hired - i for one will never watch CTV news again!
