Surely Bell could have done a lovely retirement party instead. This shows no respect for the people of Ottawa who love Carol Anne so much.

Carol Anne is the reason we watch the 6:00 p.m. news. What a shame to get rid of an experienced journalist, one that has a huge fan club. Your ratings will go down. We would like you to reconsider your decision and bring her back.

You should be ashame of your selves Bell Media, This is a women that you can tell is very passionate about her job. My husband and I have decided that if you don't bring her back we will no longer be watching the news on your station. If anyone should go it should be Graham, Carol Anne has a lot more history with this news cast then him.

Sign. Fire a few Execs at Bell - keep the front line staff who work hard and give viewers value. Ms. Meehan is a class act and by far the one of the best anchors in Canada.

I'm disgusted on how you can do this to a fantastic news anchor,,she has been loyal employee for over 27 years and this is how you treat someone,especially what she has gone through the past couple of years. If she is not reinstated, I will no longer be using your services.

I would love to see Ms. Meehan reinstated at CTV Ottawa News. She is excellent at her job. Plus she is a long time employee and her contribution should be valued.

Big mistake laying her off. Although many of us do not personally know her she has played a big role in our lives over the last 27 years. She will be missed in our home as well as thousands others.

One more mistake from the big corporation Bell Media. Laying off Carol Anne Meehan is the same putting beside all people from Ottawa
As a monopoly Bell Media did something disgraceful not only for Carol Anne Meehan but for all community.
Time to repair the damages and show to Ottawa that Bell Media listens and recall Carol Anne Meehan back to her desk
