Having been a loyal CTV Ottawa news watcher for 37 years I am angry at Bell Media for laying off Carol Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo. I have been a loyal news watcher of this station for 37+ years. Now we have Newbies with no real experience. SHAME ON BELL MEDIA! I am going to CBC Ottawa news an I am switching all my Bell services to other providers.

Please reinstate Ms. Meehan ASAP. CTV Ottawa 6pm news ratings could drop significantly with her gone, as hers is a personality which strongly brings the community together.

Without Carol Anne anchoring the Ottawa CTV news, I will switch to CBC for my local news coverage. CTV management, you should reflect upon your decision to dismiss someone so loved by the community after 27 years on the job.
