Without Carol Anne Meehan there is no 6 o"Clock news as far as I am concerned. Return her to her rightful position. I will now be going to CBC news until she is back. Shame on Bell.

This is the worst decision the station has made yet.
Carol Anne Meehan is the face of CTV.
Years ago they wanted to get rid of Regional Contact and the viewers outrage brought it back.
Not letting her say goodbye is disgraceful and the fact that she could not emotionally say goodbyr to her co-workers shows how deeply hurt she must be.
I hear that she may be able to come back by "bumping" a less senior employee. Would that not be Richardson? She has more seniority than he does as anchor.
Max must be shaking his figure a t the powers that be.
Disgusted.

What is happening to our country? Carol Anne is one of the bright happy people on the news - lately she has not been on and I actually stopped being interested in the CTV news during that period. Now she's back and I start watching again and now she's going?? I will completely stop watching CTV News if she leaves. Bell should be concerned with producing relevant stories - more Canadian and less world drama stories - this would strengthen Canada and Carol Anne Meehan is the perfect person to be involved in those stories

Carol Anne Meehan deserves more respect than you have given her. What a slap in the face to such a loyal news anchor and to your loyal viewers. Shame on you. Please bring her back.

Ms. Meehan, as your news anchor, has made herself an integral part of this community. She is a huge reason for so many of us watching CTV news everynight. Ottawa and the valley values having a local voice that has been so committed to the community and has such close ties to it sitting in the anchor desk. Max Keeping had loyal fans for a reason. Clearly CTV does not understand this community at all.
