You really don't believe that we will let Carol Anne leave CJOH. News anchors can generally be just news anchors but Carol Anne is special - warm, gracious and a huge part of our lives. It's like losing a sister! Show us you have the courage to reverse a very very bad decision.

This is shocking and sad, especially considering Carol Anne's long and very successful career. Bell Media not only made a bad decision, they should have handled this situation much differently and afforded Carol Anne the notice and respect she is entitled to, rather than causing the awe and shock that they did. It's disgraceful in my opinion.

She is the best... Has a warm aura that makes you want to watch the news. Always had compassion for every story a quality you can't find in most news anchors these days

You have lost a long time customer.There is no way I will watch bell media channels unless you reinstate Carol Anne Meehan .what a discussing way to end a dedicated employee's career .

Can't,believe they've let carol Anne go. She is one of the reasons we watch CJOH. She is so involved in the community, she will be missed terribly. Probably won't bother to watch the news now.

Carol Anne is (and should be|) the face of news in Ottawa. She knows and loves our common community and she is loved and respected in return. Without her my loyalty will switch to CBC. Time to rethink this decision!

I don't have a lot of respect for Main Stream Media, but the least Bell can do is keep gems like Carol Anne! She and the rest of the 6PM news team were the only news channel worth watching!

How horrible, after 25 years Carol Anne being let go. Why is she loosing her job and Mr. Richardson still has his and he has less experience. No disrespect to him, but that's not fair. She did not even get to say goodbye. You need to bring her back, it's a no brainer.

I am so annoyed and angry that all we were told after "it was a tough day here" was Carol Anne was let go.
It barely warranted an off-handed comment by Graham Richardson, who is a "newcomer" on the scene and unfortunately a total bore. How come he kept his job--seniority doesn't count??? Bell has finally neutralized both CJOH and CFRA with their political correctness. CRTC should have held fast when Bell wanted a monopoly on the media.

We are shocked and outraged at the firing of Carol Anne and Carolyn. They represent the Valley in the office and the Community. Max would be outraged. Reinstate or lose a lot of followers including us
